Infectious Music Already Making Waves In EDM Circles
Clubs across the United States are gearing up for the release of the much-anticipated King Louie from DJ Tommy Deep. The 26-year old DJ has long experimented with new sounds, striving to create a unique sound that can loosely be defined as club-based music with strong roots in the soul genre – and his new record, King Louie, is a barnstorming example of his training in musical theory and sound design.
King Louie, is an aggressive and driving record with a rolling bass line accentuated by the naturally bouncy nature of its arpeggiated melodies. The vocals of King Louie have playful dynamic, working up into a crescendo that references Hollywood before blowing the listeners and dancers away with a hard slam back into the infectious, rolling beat.
“King Louie is really a culmination of ten years of working on my technique and audio engineering, as well as developing my own unique musical style” says Tommy Deep, DJ-producer. “I’m really pleased with just how energetic and melodic the record is – I want to make music that takes people to an otherworldly place by bringing out that one deep metaphysical emotion.”
