Toronto, Canada — Rising Canadian horrorcore rapper Apollo has made his official debut with In the Meantime, a 19-track concept album that introduces listeners to the chilling world of Marlow Creek and the fictional serial killer Earl Lee Baines. Released through his independent label 32nd Street Meats, the project combines raw lyricism, cinematic skits, and unsettling atmospheres to push horror-inspired hip hop into bold new territory.
Described as a “recovered audio log,” In the Meantime sets the tone with eerie interludes and brutal narratives that blend psychological tension with violent storytelling. From tracks like My Name is Earl and A Night of Murder to skits that build an immersive storyline, Apollo uses music as a medium to expand the mythology surrounding Earl Lee Baines, the so-called “Marlow Creek Killer.”
But Apollo isn’t stopping there. His forthcoming album, Et Cetera (due February 2026), promises to elevate the lore even further. While In the Meantime established the foundation, Et Cetera expands the scope of the universe — diving deeper into Earl’s psychology, the darkness of Marlow Creek, and Apollo’s signature vision of horrorcore as a storytelling art form.

Apollo is a Canadian horrorcore rapper and founder of the independent label 32nd Street Meats. Emerging in the mid-2020s as part of the underground hip hop scene, Apollo released his debut studio album, In the Meantime, in 2025. The project introduced his signature style of blending dark storytelling, cinematic skits, and horror-inspired lyricism into a larger narrative centered around the fictional Marlow Creek Killer, Earl Lee Baines. His follow-up album, Et Cetera, is scheduled for release in 2026.
