Andy Rawn the SINGER Guy, meets up with 6-year-old sensation -Giselle!
Andy Rawn, the SINGER guy, is at it again! Always on the lookout for new collaborations and keeping his popular Youtube channel stocked-piled with his special, eclectic and quant brand of classically-induced pop-on-the-go renditions of anything from Ave Maria to Twinkle Twinkle Little Star!
In fact it’s the latter that has come to the fore on Andy’s latest musical caper – “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” with a 6-year-old new-found talent, Giselle .
THE STORY BEHIND THE SONG: ANDY was walking along Santa Monica’s 3rd Street Promenade on a beautiful day in April of 2015 and met a gifted 6-year singer named GISELLE, chaperoned and accompanied by her Papa JESUS. For this outdoor video-taping, JESUS kindly granted permission for GISELLE’s remarkable talent to be shared on the Internet, with a little melodic-harmony provided by ANDY, both celebrating a favorite nursery rhyme melody for the child in every one of us: “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star!”
For those who don’t remember, Basso ANDY RAWN studied opera at L.A. Conservatory of Music, Cal. State Northridge & U.C.L.A, and then began his vocal career by winning an audition to tour 37 U.S. States & Canada as Mephistopheles in Gounod’s Faust, under the auspices of Colombia Artists. ANDY RAWN studied voice with two Super-Stars of the Metropolitan Opera: Baritone RICHARD BONELLI and Tenor FRANCO CORELLI. BARBRA STREISAND’s Publicist DICK GUTTMAN consulted with ANDY in 2012 re: an opportunity to “Re-Unite Families” by enticing their children to attend American Songbook Tribute Concerts.
