Bristol, England’s All Atomic brings a variety of styles to his new EP – his second release for Pink Dolphin Music. “Destinate To Radiate” covers all varieties of electro music and shows a progression from his label debut earlier in 2017 “???? (Track With No Name)”. Everything is extremely well produced and fits together like pieces in a puzzle. It’s also incredibly diverse, but not all over the place. Songs jump from standard electronic tunes to blaring club bangers and glassy-eyed soundtrack-styled compositions at the drop of a hat. It sounds exactly like a collaboration effort by diverse producers…except it’s really only one person – All Atomic.

From soft to loud and smooth to harsh, All Atomic brings a diversity of sounds to the table. While it does bear a striking resemblance the producer’s previous endeavors, “Destinate To Radiate” is more expansive and daring. The tracks see All Atomic uninhibited and experimenting frequently, with core melodies and rhythms looping in order to allow all manner of beautiful sounds and harmonies to be conjured throughout, and combining driving percussion with synths, basses, and strings rising and falling in and out of the mixes.

The wide, spacious production is immaculate, allowing for an intimate blend of sounds that also feel grand and sprawling. This enables the best songs on the album, like “Jetting Off”, “Oceans Of Neon” and “Light Weight” to harness its wild dynamics gloriously. Busy electronics and staccato’d playing dance together, hurtling towards powerful crescendos.

Gorgeous tracks like “Dali” exhibit how effective All Atomic can be at slower and more somber songwriting. The contrast between the quieter build-ups and the more challenging, experimental moments on this track never takes you out of the listening experience. The changes in mood is handled with finesse and care.

All Atomic certainly isn’t afraid to take risks. His electronic elements and rhythms add new dimensions and possibilities to each song. Despite the varied flavors on this album, All Atomic’s brand of electronic and dance music remains as impressive, fresh and cohesive as his debut. His musical world is one rife with unique insights and dark, detailed compositions always able to emotionally connect and inspirit.

There’s something about All Atomic’s new studio album that lends itself to immersion. The producer’s deep tones lulls you into a safe place full of burning synth hooks, broiling bass lines and driving rhythms, and it’s a world that, for all its unique facets, feels familiar and warm.

The imagery is futuristic, evoking kaleidoscope days and neon nights; the melodies are narrow, taught, yet comfortable, while the beats push forward incessantly. Everything about “Destinate To Radiate” sets itself up powerfully, knocking at the panels in your head and waiting for them to move and become infiltrated with sound.

Meticulously constructed, it’s stunning how All Atomic brings inspired peaks and drops to an aesthetic which should by rights threaten at every juncture to become predictable and tired; the simplest fact is that every beat just impresses too much. There is nothing pretentious about the way “Destinate To Radiate” reveals itself, nothing overbearing or confusing; it just thumps its way in steadily.
