“SNOWED IN” sounds like a coming of age project for new hip-hop artist Marc Frvncis from Brisbane, Australia. On all 5 tracks, Frvncis is fearless. The EP is admirable because Marc Frvncis writes music from his heart. He is honest throughout the EP giving listeners real music and musical production from MKSB.The recording has a cohesive message and an atmospheric progression. The artist channels his personal experiences into complex raps, creative flows, and a number of influences. Over dynamic beats, Marc Frvncis embraces his unique progression for an unrivaled style in this saturated hip-hop game.

Frvncis’ perspective separates him from other rappers. This EP will enlighten you with his battles, flaws, and thoughts. Although Frvncis doesn’t have a traditional hit, there are a couple of very catchy songs on this EP. Frvncis rarely wavers from his focused bars and there are a couple low-key bangers on here.

But “SNOWED IN” doesn’t sacrifice integrity for radio yet new audiences will ultimately appreciate Marc Frvncis for his rap skills, choice beats, and unique path. On the opening track “She’s A Star” there is a harmonic instrumental that’s vivid and illuminating. Frvncis lets listeners know he’s about to take off into his 5 track EP with his melodic inspirations.  It makes you want to listen more.

“I Wonder”, the second song on “SNOWED IN” is catchy – a track that presents Marc Frvncis fiery flow and catchy hooks. The song also raises expectations for the rest of the recording. “Don’t Look Down” is a soothing low-key track, where the production fits Frvncis carefree style to a tee.

The artist delivers enchanting bars here and reinforces his path as an unsigned rapper with a vengeance. On “Witness Dope”, Frvncis uses vivid imagery and a raw delivery. It’s a confident song that’s also exciting.

Marc Frvncis is able to use spoken word verses and sing-song storytelling deliveries. All throughout the EP Frvncis proves his skills and unrivaled rap flows. Frvncis’ EP is a breath of fresh air coming up from what seems like an eternity of Fetty Wap, Future and Drake dominating the hip hop sphere.

Frvncis remains resilient on this EP, starting off brilliantly with “She’s A Star”, which creates a heavenly atmosphere for the listener. Another thing of note is that Frvncis doesn’t leave much room for mistakes.

Going forward, I believe Marc Frvncis has quite the pair of shoes to fill after establishing just how much work he’s done and how capable he is of completing an EP or album on his own steam. The way he asserts himself on an EP is incredible, and no doubt he’s going to consistently keep raising the bar for himself to really make the fans beg for more.
