“You not ready yet, it too delicate,” sings Fabp aka Fabpz the Freelancer, and it’s more than just a simple premonition. You, the listener, are probably ‘not ready yet’, for what Fabp delivers in his own unique style. Out now, is his 3-sided single, “Never Heard Before” – containing the classic version, the instrumental and the Acappella versions.

Fabp aka Fabpz the Freelancer, dabbles mainly in a personal mix of Dancehall and Hiphop. His delivery and style however is not in the fast and furious, raucous rhymes set. Fabp is one of a very select group of crossover dancehall artists who has the ability, will and courage to do his own thing. Throughout his career, whether dominated by Dancehall, dominated by Hiphop or dominated by controversy or naysayers, Fabp has managed to retain a seemingly unerring and indomitable approach to his music which is, perhaps, unmatched by many fame-seeking artists today.

Fabp aka Fabpz the Freelancer, raps and sings in a nonchalant manner, which to some, may be monotonous and to others hypnotic. As always, music is a personal point of view; what is poison to some is manna to others. No doubt, Fabp’s style of interpreting the danchall/hiphop crossover genre is an acquired taste and not meant for everyone, but it is exactly this exclusivity, which will eventually help carve-out his own particular niche audience.

On “Never Heard Before”, Fabp once again showcases his inimitable laid-back roots style, as he expands the already large variety of beats in his catalog. For fans of Fabp, it is a truly satisfying listening experience, with a diverse yet melodious and rhythmic production, together with Fabp’s unmistakable trademark wit and freestyle lyrical prowess, making it well worth adding to your music collection.

The same rule applies to Fabp aka Fabpz the Freelancer.
